Summer Assignment

Each student is to read one piece of approved educational nonfiction (excluding textbooks) dealing with physics, engineering, or general scientific study.  Keep a journal for a chapter by chapter analysis of the book.  Journal must include the following:

bulletCover page
bulletName
bulletBibliographical information of the book (Title, author, publisher, copyright)
bullet1 page (at least) personal response to each chapter in any or several of the following styles:
bulletAgree/disagree with the arguments.  Justify.
bulletExplore personal questions raised by the material
bulletExplore possible applications (industrial, technological, educational, personal) of the material
bulletExplore philosophical/moral implications to the material
bulletExplore the importance of the material in specific current events

Choose a book that interests you.  Find one that is relevant to your life.  I must approve your choice to make sure it meets the intended goals of the assignment.
